Graphic and brand designer with more than 25 years of professional experience - independent since 2008, working with clients around the world.
I design brand identities and the surfaces they live on - logos and type systems, packaging, print, and large-format outdoor. The work spans the moment a brand is named to the day its box sits on a shelf, and the throughline is the same: a clear idea, executed with craft, that holds up at every size.
Two and a half decades in, I move comfortably between the tools that built the discipline and the ones remaking it - CorelDRAW, Illustrator, and Photoshop alongside Figma and Capture One. Photography is part of the practice too, which keeps the design honest about light, composition, and how an image actually reads.
Lately I have been exploring the intersection of design, AI, and visual storytelling - using modern tools to move faster from concept to comp without letting the craft go soft. On StackNova I write the Design path: the systems, tools, and vocabulary that keep visual work coherent as a product grows.
The disciplines and surfaces I spend my days inside, from brand identity to the tools that carry the work from sketch to shelf.
Not a manifesto - more a set of habits the work keeps drifting back toward, project after project.

A brand is an idea before it is a color or a mark. Get the idea right and the logo, the palette, and the packaging fall out of it. Get it wrong and no amount of polish will hold the pieces together.

The same identity has to read on a business card, a billboard, and a phone screen. Designing for the hardest surface first - ink on a large format - makes every smaller one easier.

Photography sharpens composition; packaging teaches constraint; UI work forces clarity. Twenty-five years across disciplines is not a resume - it is a wider set of moves to reach for on any brief.

Modern tools compress the distance from concept to comp. Used with judgment they free up time for the decisions only a designer can make; used lazily they flatten a brand into everyone else's. The craft is knowing the difference.
